Playing the game of life
"It looks like work to others, but it feels like play to me."
“It looks like work to others, but it feels like play to me.” - is the Naval Ravikant quote stuck with me. Agree or disagree with him, he has interesting points on life lessons. This one is rarely realized by people, I believe it is on point though.
For me, coding a new app, building software, is just a “Game”. As it is my passion, and spent decades learning it from games to business apps, from small to large scale, from monoliths to services, language to language, tool to tool, industry to industry.
If you have found your passion, be it anything, that becomes the “Game” for you. It brings unparalleled joy by able to create something and to see that thing coming to form. For others, seeing success in your field, wanting to join, will be in a constant struggle to keep up.
Cheris their effort, you would not be able to create without the people around you! Cheris the gamer as the one bringing forth the energy.
While playing the “Game”, challenges won’t feel insourmountable and the day starts bright and shiny. Hope you find your “Game” to excel at! And sometimes just have even more fun, creative and find new horizons, good luck!
Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, A, B…
